It was about three years ago that I bought this colourful, leafy print jumpsuit from Bershka. With it’s fabulous leafy print, it’s still bang on trend. Not that I care about trends. I really don’t. I like to wear what suits me regardless of whether or not it’s hot at the moment. Don’t you?
Speaking of hot, the weather was damn hot last week, which is when this jumpsuit comes out of the wardrobe. It’s such a lovely light cotton fabric, and I love the ‘floatiness’ of the legs – perfect for the heat.
I also love the back of this colourful, leafy print jumpsuit because it shows off my tattoo to perfection. My hair is getting long though – it’s going to hide it soon! I never even thought of that. I might have to start putting it up more, because I’m not going short again. Not for a while anyway. Yeah, yeah… I’ve said that before 😉
Colourful, leafy print jumpsuit
We were invited to our neighbour’s place for dinner, so I wore the colourful, leafy print jumpsuit with a statement necklace that you haven’t seen on the blog before. This was one of my early eBay purchases and I love it. It reminds me of Egypt, for some reason. But one of the first times I wore it, we were eating out at an Indian restaurant in Alvor (one of our nearby touristy towns) and as we were leaving, one of the tiny cords broke and little colourful beads scattered everywhere. And I mean, everywhere. I was so embarrassed! Fortunately, there are loads more cords on it, so it didn’t affect the look of the necklace lol.
One of things I don’t like about the jumpsuit is easily fixed but I just haven’t got round to it yet. The length of the legs. I don’t know why they make these things so damn long! I have to wear either really high heels or platforms! On this occasion I chose platforms because they’re more comfortable and easier to walk in. Although we were only walking next door! One of these days, I’ll get round to shortening it.
These shoes were quite expensive (for me anyway). I think hubby paid over 100 euros for a wedding anniversary treat for me. To be honest, although I love the look and feel of them, I am disappointed that they’re beginning to wear out already. I think I’ve worn them four times over the past couple of years. Not very impressive, is it?! You can just see at the back, near my heel, where it’s wearing out. I’m trying to remember what brand they are but can’t, for the life of me, remember! They’re Italian and they’re meant to be ‘designer’. Oh well.
Nearly forgot to mention my clutch – which, if you’re a regular visitor, you’ll have seen about a million times lol. It’s my absolute favourite gold leather clutch and I bought it from Massimo Dutti. What a surprise lol!
Meteor shower
Our evening at our neighbour’s was such fun! After dinner, we all headed down to the pool area where we laid on sunbeds and watched the meteor shower. We didn’t see many meteors but a few. It was a good laugh nonetheless.
Have a fabulous weekend, folks! I hope it’s amazing for you all <3
