A green hoodie, more bumbags and my first full week at work

As I write, it’s Monday morning and it’s pouring with rain outside, which is a good thing. We’ve not had nearly enough rain this winter. I’m off to work in a couple of hours but in the meantime, I thought I’d share a few thoughts…

Sophie’s Golf Shop

Last week I worked every day (except Sunday) as I was covering for a colleague on holiday. However, I was still only working part time, four hours per day. I’m absolutely loving my new job at Sophie’s Golf Shop in Odiaxere. It’s great to work in such a warm and friendly environment with customers from all over the world. I’m learning new skills every day and having lots of fun at the same time. Who’d have thought it, eh?

One of the things that I particularly enjoy about the job, is seeing all the gorgeous clothes that we sell. I’m still surprised at how lovely golfing wear can be! And almost all of it can be worn casually too. I’ve got my eye on a few things too lol. But I’ll share more about the clothes on the blog soon.

Yesterday was my day off, so I did very little all day apart from the grocery shopping in the morning. The rest of the day was spent lounging around catching up with some of my favourite TV shows – utter bliss 🙂

Chilling out

As it was such a chilled out day, it called for a chilled out outfit too. So, I simply put on my new green hoodie and skinny jeans. I bought the green hoodie a couple of weeks ago but because it’s not very warm (on account of how wide it is) I wore a black polo neck beneath it which kept me snug all day. The green hoodie only cost me 5.99 from Stradivarius. Bargain.

You may have noticed that I’m using my black bumbag again. I just love how versatile these things are. But mostly I love how it allows you to be totally hands-free – and gives your shoulder a rest from regular handbags! I’ve got four bumbags in total but have always got my eye open for more lol. This is the one that get’s the most use because it fits a lot more than my others. I used it the whole time we were in England and Ireland, and again on the blog when the Fab40s went apocalyptic. I have a very boring brown leather one, a cute gold one and a red one, which I’m sure will make an appearance on the blog soon.

Anyway, I’d better get ready for work! See you all soon 🙂
