A couple of weeks ago, hubby and I bought a few new pairs of Converse All Stars. The shop was closing down and they had a two-for-one offer. We couldn’t resist, so we bought two pairs each! I chose orange and yellow Converse as well as a golden pair.
Like most people with a pulse (!), I’m a huge fan of Converse. I love how versatile they are. They look just as good with jeans or combats as they do with a really girlie floaty dress. I wrote a post about my love for them over a year ago. Well, here’s the first pair of yellow Converse…
Last week we headed out for a stroll on Alvor beach. It was a little breezy but the weather was beautiful. It was early enough in the morning to be quiet too, which was perfect.
I wanted to wear something colourful to go with my new orange and yellow Converse. However I probably went a little too literal with a yellow vest, orange cardigan and orange handbag but at least it was bright and cheery!
It was an outfit that made me feel quite confident so I was happy 🙂 (although I rarely look that happy in photos! I am a happy person, honestly lol!). The vest top is from Primark – I have one in almost every colour and the cardigan is from H&M (I have it in grey too).
This cute orange handbag was a gift from my lovely mother-in-law, Jackie. Last Christmas, she had a bit of a clear out and I ended up bringing home about seven of her handbags in various colours. This is one of my favourites – the bright colour just screams summer.
I think I bought this necklace from eBay a few years ago. I loved the colours – the hint of purple, which is why I chose to wear my purple Hawkers sunglasses. Again, I usually like things to ‘go’ together but on this occasion, everything seemed to match!
I love that you can see Michael through the lenses here. Excuse the hair – I was having a bit of a dodgy hair day.
