Yes, I’ve bought two more pairs of jeans! I can’t help it, I just can’t get enough of them. Although, if I’m honest, I’m simply determined to find the perfect pair for my body lol. I’ve just had a look in my wardrobe and counted how many pairs I actually have, and there’s at least 29 pairs of jeans in there! Crikey.
The two pairs I bought this week were from the sale in H&M, so they were only cheap (which obviously makes it ok to buy more to add to my 29 pairs of jeans lol). Up until last year, the majority of my collection consisted of skinny jeans. I’d literally been living in them for years! But slowly, with skinny jeans losing popularity (but not in my eyes), I’ve been adding different styles. My favoured being the wide leg variety. So, when I spotted this pair for just 10.99 euros, I had to have them!
The other pair I bought are boot-leg and are in a darker wash. I’m actually wearing them now, they’re super comfortable, and they were only 14.99! Talk about a bargain. I ordered them both in a 40 (which is a UK 12, I think), and they fit really well. My only slight gripe is that the lighter wash jeans are a tad long so I’ll have to wear heels / wedges until I can be bothered to take them up. If I had to do that with all of my 29 pairs of jeans, I’d never be doing anything else!
I also bought this light brown / taupe coloured vest at the same time. I knew to order it in a size S because I already own rather a lot of them lol. I have two in dark brown, as well as in white, navy, khaki, light blue, black and several in grey. Clearly, I live in them! They’re so comfortable to wear when it’s hot and underneath sweaters when it’s cold. They’re available every season in different colours.
The cute little suede fringed handbag was bought from Massimo Dutti years ago. Although I love it, and it’s super cute, it’s completely impractical! I can just about fit my phone, a lipstick and a credit card and that’s about it. But it does look good lol. The shoes are also old, but I adore them. They’re probably the most comfortable pair of heeled wedges I’ve ever owned. They’re kind of a clog, but have a super soft bed for the foot (my brain isn’t working, I can’t remember the proper word for that lol). I would love to buy another pair but I haven’t seen anything similar since buying them. I finished off this look with a denim shirt from Primark (really old), as well as a brown suede cuff and a fabulous necklace from my MIL (the ring was a gift from her too).
And that’s it, just one of my 29 pairs of jeans, styled in a very simple way. It’s a look I like very much. Simple but stylish. Wouldn’t you agree? How many pairs of jeans do you have? After writing my last post, I mentioned I didn’t really have anywhere to take photos now that we’ve moved house, I was thrilled to discover this place works quite well for indoor photography YAY!
