It’s been a horrible week, health-wise. I’ve had a nasty tummy bug that almost lasted a full week. Talk about unpleasant. Much of the week was spent curled up on the sofa or in the loo! I won’t elaborate any further than that lol.
Fortunately, as I write I’m feeling much better – very close to being back to my usual self again – well enough to eat some yummy food which was sorely missed over the course of the week anyway! I lived off of rice and gluten-free toast, (as well as water and mint tea) so I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed digging in to some roasted courgettes, tomatoes and potatoes this evening. And that was followed by a delicious gluten and lactose free cornetto mmmmmmm.
We also started to re-decorate my new office which I’m super excited about. It has been given the first coat of blue paint and should be completed today. Then we need to paint the desk that we collected yesterday, which will look beautiful alongside the Welsh dresser we bought from a lovely couple two weeks ago (which we’ve already painted distressed white). I can’t wait to start adding little gold touches. It’s going to look fab! I’ll share photos when it’s looking amazing 😉
If you did read the title of this post, you’ll also notice that I’m starting to offer a proofreading service to authors. I’m a little bit infamous for my eagle eyes lol so I thought I’d put them to good use. If you’re an author ready to self publish your novel, then why not let me be the final proofreader? Find out more details here.
And now for my outfit! As you can probably imagine, I haven’t worn anything particularly exciting for the past week, so this is from over a week ago when I decided to wear another summery outfit. It’s a fun floral tee that I have worn once on the blog before but never since. Silly really, because it’s super comfy and very pretty. Instead of the usual blue jeans, I thought white were a bit more summery. The green cardigan is too, I think. And when I wore this outfit, it was warm enough to wear open-toed wedge sandals too. It’s getting cooler now though (YAY!). In fact, it’s starting to rain right now and I love it.
So that was the week that was. Not particularly exciting by any means lol! See you soon <3
