When I was a kid, I remember shopping in a place called C&A in my home town of Rotherham. It was one of my favourite shops because there was always so much to choose from. Sadly, all the C&A shops in the UK closed down a few years later. However, they soon started popping up here in Portugal. The nearest C&A is actually in Portimao (about 15 minutes drive away) and last week I decided to pop in…
I came out with a bag full of goodies lol, including these fabulous black ankle-grazers and this cute little vest. The moment I tried on the trousers, I knew I had to have them. They fit perfectly – as if they were made for me. Don’t you just love it when that happens? The only problem with them is that the fabric is a magnet for cat and dog hairs! But that’s nothing a lint remover can’t handle 😉
I think I only paid 12.90 for the trousers, and 5.90 for the vest. I also came away with the most fabulous pair of leopard print jeans for 3.90… yes, you saw that right. 3.90! I couldn’t believe it when I spotted them. And then, when I tried them on and they fit beautifully, I think I probably laughed out loud. I’ll show them to you when the weather is a little cooler. What else did I buy? Hm…. oh yeah, two cute tighter fitting vests for 1.90 each! Don’t you just love an amazing bargain?
During the same shopping spree, I also bought these black and gold sandals as well as a few other bits and pieces but they’ll come out on the blog soon. The sandals cost me just 15 euros in the final sale at the Guimaraes shoe store. Unfortunately, on the website they’re still listed at the full price of 29.95.
I’ve worn black and gold quite a few times before. It’s one of those colour combinations that I just adore. It’s so classy, right? And it was the perfect opportunity to wear my new black and gold spotty headband. It’s cute, right? My hair is such a mess at the moment so headbands are eactly what I need to make it look a little more presentable. I can’t wait to see my stylist at the end of the month lol.
But back to work now…. I’m still super busy getting my books ready for re-launch later this month! See you next week <3
