If you’re a regular reader, then you’ll know I’m a HUGE fan of Calla Shoes. I owned four pairs: two pairs of Charlotte flats, one pair of Rosa wedges and the fourth, the most gorgeous ankle boots. And then I was invited to try out the new Malva wedges and boy was I excited! They’re every bit as comfortable as I expected… and more, to be honest. Every time I put on a pair of Calla shoes, my feet sigh in utter delight. Seriously, my bunions are in heaven here lol.
I was challenged to style my new Malva wedges three different ways and so today, here is the result of that challenge. I decided not to give it too much thought because I simply wanted the shoes to shine the way they deserve to shine.
So, here they are in all their comfortable glory. Malva wedges, worn thee ways:
Outfit One: Creams and whites
I’m going to be honest here. The reason I wore a long skirt is because I’d been wearing trainers and socks earlier in the day and so I had a hideous sock mark lol! That, and the fact that my legs are so white they’re practically translucent. But when I put the skirt on with the Malva wedges, I loved the result. Adding my pearl necklace, bracelet, and a yellow cardigan brought it all together. What do you think? Do you like the girlie look?
Outfit Two: 70s flares
I bought these flared jeans a few weeks ago from Stradivarius. They were super cheap in the sales and the moment I put them on, I knew I had to have them. Aren’t they fab? Naturally they were about a foot too long so I had to alter them to fit. And as luck would have it, they’re now the perfect length for my Malva wedges! You might recognise the top, which I wore once on the blog before. I don’t wear it too often because it’s quite short but it’s perfect with the high-waisted flare jeans, right?
Outfit Three: Sophisticated black dress
Wanting a chic look for my final outfit, this Massimo Dutti dress was the perfect choice for such a look. I would probably normally choose black shoes to go with it but I decided to try the Malva wedges instead and I think they look great. Adding a handbag in a similar shade finished off the outfit – not to mention a red cardigan and my red glasses!
So there they are all. Three outfits, one pair of Calla shoes. What do you think? Did I do the shoes justice?
N.B I received a complimentary pair of Malva Wedges for this challenge.
