Payment and acceptance of payment constitutes agreement of these terms and conditions.
Payment Method
Full payment is required upfront for all pre-made cover designs. Paypal is the only method of payment accepted. All currencies are accepted, but please note that exchange rates may vary.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change at any time and without warning. Price is guaranteed upon agreement of the terms & conditions.
Refunds
Once a pre-made design has been paid for, all sales are final and cannot be returned, exchanged, transferred, or refunded.
Attribution
Covers by Suzy would like cover design credit to appear in client’s book (digital and print) such as: “Cover Design by Covers by Suzy – suzyturner.com/covers-by-suzy“ However, this is optional.
Display
I reserve the right to display your book cover in my own portfolio and across my social media channels.
Ownership rights
Upon receipt of payment, Covers by Suzy grants the client the exclusive license to use the final cover design artwork for his/her book cover and associated promotional materials (banners, for example). Covers by Suzy maintains full copyright of all designs and draft concepts and they may not be recreated in any way by anyone other than herself.
Artwork and design may not be sold, reused, or used out of context.
Unaltered, finished book cover design may be used on promotional merchandise, provided the usage is in accordance with the rights and limitations of the licensing agreement of the stock image provider(s).
Covers by Suzy always retains the right to use the final design, author name and book title in their portfolio and to market and promote her services.
The client understands that the design may not be altered by anyone other than Suzy Turner of Covers by Suzy.
In no way, will raw layered files be provided to the client due to copyright issues. PDF, JPG and PNG files will be provided.
Liability
At no time will Covers by Suzy be held financially or legally responsible for any problems, costs, fees or expenses incurred by Client as a result of using the book cover design provided by Covers by Suzy. While Covers by Suzy will do their best to fix any problems that may arise with the book cover design, they cannot be held responsible for any costs, fees, or expenses due to any problem with the book cover design. Please note that the majority of the photography used in these cover designs belongs to Suzy Turner so it is highly unlikely that any such problem should arise. When other images are used, they are only ever sourced from legitimate stock photography sites.
Corrections & Delivery
Adjustments
Pre-made Covers can be altered slightly to suit your needs, including: fonts and small adjustments like colours and touch-ups. Adjustments fees may apply for more complex alterations.
Due Date
Your request will be handled up to 3 working days for a pre-made cover. You will be advised if any delays are expected.
Formats
Print-ready (back and spine) book covers are usually supplied in a 5×8 format.
I will provide you a .png or .jpg file (depending on your preference) in 300 dpi for both ebooks and printed books.
