I’m finally ready to reveal what’s been keeping me so busy over the past few weeks. Well…I’ve started a new creative venture, Designed by Suze—an Etsy shop selling printable wall art. Since starting my book cover design business earlier this year, I’ve been enjoying the creativity so much that I wanted to do something that would appeal to others, not just to authors. Ideally, I would have preferred to call it Designed by Suzy but that was already taken! So, I went with Designed by Suze, instead (Suze is what Michael calls me).
After doing some research, I discovered that downloadable and printable posters are actually a thing, and with my creative design ‘skills’, it suits me right down to the ground. So, I started creating and uploading my wall art to the Etsy store. I didn’t want to promote it until I had at least 100 posters on the site and that happened yesterday YAY! I’m thrilled with the results, and I’m having the best time creatively. I just hope that now that I’m ready to launch Designed by Suze, that people will like my creations enough to buy them!
It’s actually a really affordable way of decorating your walls—perfect if you’re like me, and like to update your decor quite regularly too! All you need to do is download the poster (which comes in a variety of different sizes), then either print it at home, or take it somewhere like Staples, for instance, to get it printed. Easy peasy! Cool, huh?
I’ve got all varieties of posters in the store, from Christmas decor to cat humour to warm and fuzzy quotes and more planned. I usually try and add new stock every week day so if you don’t see anything you like, please keep checking! Because Designed by Suze is a new Etsy store, I have no followers yet, so I would be forever in your debt (!) if you would please consider giving it a like or follow (or whatever it is on Etsy lol). Also, I’d like to offer you a special discount of 30% off with the code, GBDEC21 which will run until the end of the month. I should also add that the posters make cool, and inexpensive Christmas gifts of course! Here are a few of my favourites…
So, that’s enough of me and my creative life lol. Let’s get on with the link-up! I’d love to see what you’ve all been up to this week!
