#dressedindutti is a hashtag for anyone posting photos of themselves wearing clothes by Massimo Dutti and if you’re a regular reader, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of the brand!
What does one do when it’s too dark outdoors to take photos? Well, take them in the bathroom, of course! Our en-suite has the best light in the house. Everywhere else is lit purely by sidelights and for photos, you really need decent (yet soft) overhead lights, right? Having said that, it’s not terribly bright either lol. But it just had to do.
So here I am getting ready for an evening out to celebrate hubby’s 45th birthday. We went to the west coast for pizza. It’s a 45 minute drive but it was his choice. And I must say, it was an excellent one. The pizzas there were absolutely divine. The name of the restaurant is Arte Bianca 2 and I highly recommend it. Next time we go, I’ll take my camera and get some good pictures to show you how yummy they look!
I knew I wanted to wear a dress for the occasion, considering I’m almost always in jeans. Warmth was also high on my priority list, because the west coast does get very chilly at this time of year. I needn’t have worried so much though, because it was lovely and warm in the restaurant.
#dressedindutti Knitted Dress
I decided on this pretty knitted dress from Massimo Dutti which I hadn’t worn before. It was an absolute steal in the summer sale. Would you believe I paid just 17 euros for it? Talk about a bargain. The original price was 70 euros! I know, I couldn’t believe it either. I’m so glad I snapped it up because it’s such a lovely dress to wear. It’s warm, comfortable and loose around the middle so after I packed away two thirds of a pizza, it hid a very full tummy lol. The sleeves are three quarter length, which I don’t usually like but it didn’t seem to bother me at all.
#dressedindutti Leather Jacket
I teamed my trusty knee-length black suede boots and thick black tights with the dress. And to top it all off, I added my gorgeous Massimo Dutti leather jacket, a black chunky necklace and a few pretty rings. All in all, I was quite pleased with the outfit, although I would’ve preferred some nice photos in the sunlight! But that’s just too difficult at this time of year.
We had a wonderful evening with close friends and hubby insists he doesn’t remotely feel one year closer to 50 😉
