Last week, I ordered a pair of loose-fitting blue jeans from H&M. I was a bit concerned that they might need turning up (welcome to the life of a 5ft 3inch—and a half!—woman) because they looked fairly long on the model who is a good three inches taller than me. But when they arrived, I was absolutely delighted. They’re the perfect length to wear with both sneakers and heels. They are now my new favourite jeans. I call them loose-fitting but in the store, they’re calling them bootcut low jeans.
I also ordered this adorable white broderie anglaise blouse because I envisioned them looking perfect together. Of course I was right lol. Isn’t it cute? I’m not normally a frilly kinda gal, but there was something about this blouse that spoke to me, and I’m so glad it did because I love it too!
Here, I chose to wear my trusty ‘clogs’ (for want of a better word) that I’ve had several years now, and I never tire of them. They’re perhaps my most comfortable summer wedges and, considering they’ve been worn to death, they still look relatively new! I’d love to find another pair in a similar style. Not really sure what I was doing with my face on that photo lol.
The handbag has featured on the blog numerous times before but it’s a good ‘un, right? It was a gift from my MIL the Christmas before last. It’s one of those bags that turns heads. Most women adore it! As do I. And it actually goes with quite a lot of things. Like my new favourite jeans lol. That was a silly comment because these jeans are going to go with absolutely everything. Seriously, there’s not much you can’t wear with a good pair of jeans, is there?
I’m linking to the jeans and the blouse below, as well as the strapless balconette bra that I also ordered—it fits beautifully, by the way. No gaping as is often the case with strapless bras—because they’re all still available in-store/online. And nothing was expensive which is pretty normal for H&M. I’ve just checked the UK store, and the broderie anglaise blouse is ‘coming soon’. Weird that we got it first!
Now it’s time for the Neverending Style Link-Up. What have you been up to this week? I hope you’ll link up all your posts (blogs, instagram and YouTube are all welcome). Have a fabulous weekend!
