The Holiday Inn Algarve and Filine Fashion hosted a fun mini fashion show in the hotel bar and lobby yesterday. Five fabulous, brave ladies (guests at the hotel as well as local residents) strutted their stuff down the ‘catwalk’ wearing some lovely items of clothing from Filine Fashion, a local shop in Armacao de Pera owned by Fiona Morton.
The models clearly had a wonderful time (as did I on my very first fashion show photoshoot!). Fiona and the Holiday Inn Algarve hotel regularly host mini fashion shows like this, which prove to be lots of fun for the local guests who volunteer to take part. I’ve offered to be a regular photographer myself because it was so lovely to be a part of something so unique, so you’ll be seeing lots more in the future. I’m loving some of the fabrics and textures this season, especially with all the lovely detailing on – I do love a bit of sparkle!
