Pretty floral choker top
When I spotted this pretty floral choker top in Pull & Bear, I simply couldn’t resist it. The in-built choker means there is absolutely no need for a necklace. I’ve always loved chokers – I think it’s because they remind me of another era. Is it the Victorian times, perhaps?
I actually had a pretty bad couple of weeks, to be honest. It started off with me overdoing it on the computer (when I get excited about a new project, I go completely overboard and I’m on the computer, like ALL the time!) and my muscles pretty much seized up and I was in pain for a few days. I didn’t want to admit this because I teach yoga and I should know better but what better way do we learn from our mistakes, right? lol.
Restless Leg Syndrome?
Anyway, after I recovered from that, I got a tummy bug and was out of action for a few more days. And then… I have this problem that happens maybe three or four times a year. It’s the most hideous dull aching in my legs. And when I say hideous, I really mean, hideous. It’s incredibly painful and it stops me from sleeping – so for about five days, I had to keep getting up and exercising my legs to try and relieve the pain. Thankfully, the pain has now receded and I finally slept wonderfully last night. YAY! I think it might be RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome), also known as Willis-Ekbom Disorder but I need to make an appointment with the GP to find out for sure.
Rich food
Last weekend, we decided to pop out to Lagos for a Chinese meal. As it was a little cooler, I figured my wide-legged jeans from Massimo Dutti would be the perfect thing to wear. I’m glad I did. When we left the restaurant, it was actually a little chilly! After the meal, I wished we hadn’t gone out though – it was still a little too soon to be eating such rich food. My tummy was complaining. But I was craving it lol.
My flat black leather sandals that I bought from Primark years ago (and are still going strong!) were the perfect shoes for the evening. I couldn’t be doing with heels that night. And my cute pale pink leather handbag (another gift from mother-in-law a long time ago) tied in nicely with the pale pink flowers on my new, favourite top.
The choker floral top is just one of many choker tops I’ve seen in shops lately and I do love them. What do you think? Are they your sort of thing? Do you think they’re flattering?
