The coat obsession continues: floral down Massimo Dutti jacket: It’s almost mid April and it’s still raining here in the Algarve. It’s been practically non-stop for months and everybody has just about had enough of it. We’re desperate for some sunshine here! So, because the weather is terrible, I’m here with yet another new coat (!). If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know hubby and I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to coats and jackets. We just can’t get enough of ’em! Massimo Dutti is our favourite place to buy them and we have developed a little bit of a collection lol.
This floral down Massimo Dutti jacket is my latest purchase (about a month ago). Unfortunately, it’s since sold out. I’d been wanting a short padded jacket for some time and the moment I saw this one, I knew I had to try it on. Usually, I avoid this shade of pink, but for some bizarre reason I completely loved it on me. And, the exciting thing about this jacket is the fact that’s it’s reversible. The inside is solid pale pink. It’s also the perfect jacket for this weather we’re having right now. Because it’s super light, when the sun comes out and it’s warm, it’s still comfortable enough to keep on. I’m totally in love with it!

On this occasion (several weeks ago), I wanted to take photos purely of the jacket, so I went for a very plain outfit, showcasing the floral down Massimo Dutti jacket, my gorgeous brown riding boots from The Spanish Boot Company – not to mention my trusty men’s Massimo Dutti handbag!
We took the photos not far from where we live – just a short drive away, between our house and the Monchique mountains. Since taking these photos, hubby decided he wanted to take my Mercedes off-road. When we arrived home an hour later, my bumper was cracked in two and hanging off the back because he took it through a river like the one above! Men! My poor car 🙁
