A little while ago, I told you all about the brilliant Pro Nails Manicure – a gel manicure that keeps your nails healthy and strong. As promised, here’s an update about how easy it is to remove.
I had my second manicure about two and a half weeks ago. My first lasted almost a month, as I was on holiday at the time, so I was able to be a bit more careful (less cleaning, etc). This time however, being back at home, my hands got a bit more bashed (mainly putting logs into the fire) and therefore I needed to remove the varnish sooner than I’d hoped after stupidly knocking quite a big chunk off yesterday 🙁 But two and a half weeks isn’t bad!
At least the removal process is super easy and leaves your nails looking, and feeling, as good as new. All I needed to do was put a little oil onto the edges of the nails (I used coconut oil because I’m obsessed with it!) and then use a cuticle pusher to gently lift the varnish from the nails. It literally is as easy as that! It took less than five minutes to remove it all. And once removed, I just rubbed the nails a little with the oil that was already there… et voila! My nails were just as strong as if I’d never had a gel manicure in the first place.
I’m so impressed with the Pro Nails manicure that I’m booked in for another appointment with Roberta at Beauty Angels in Ferragudo next week.
