It’s almost two weeks since we were hit with Covid and I’m slowly getting better. I’m no longer positive which is fabulous, because that means we can finally continue with our plans and go and pick up my car from Germany YAY! For now though, I’ve spent the past ten days or so mooching around the house in my comfy PJs, not wearing a stitch of make-up. That has to change because I’m fed up of feeling and looking shitty. So, I’ve put on my goddess dress to swan around the house in an attempt to feel better.
I call it my goddess dress because it just has that Grecian goddess feel to it, don’t you think? The way it drapes around the body and with the twisty strap? It’s such an unusual dress—so different from anything I’ve had before. It’s actually quite old now. But it was gifted to me in the early days of my style blog, from Apricot in the UK. Even though I’m still not feeling hundred per cent, wearing this goddess dress does help me…just a little bit! It’s always good to get glammed up, even if you’ve got nowhere to go.
I styled it with my gladiator style sandals, for obvious reasons (!) and a cream necklace that also has those goddess vibes. Do you ever dress up just for the sake for it? And do you have anything that makes you feel goddess-like? Let me know in the comments, and link-up all your posts in this week’s Neverending Style link-up!
