Over the last couple of years I seem to have won loads of stuff. Yeah I guess I’m quite a lucky person generally (I certainly lucked out meeting my hubby – I know, I’m such a soppy cow!) but what I say is, you’ve got to be in it to win it, right? Most of the things I’ve won are from entering giveaways on Twitter – if you didn’t know about these competitions then you’re losing out. Twitter is literally awash with fun stuff to win. The easiest way to check out what’s on offer is to go to the search box and search #RT or RT to win. Literally hundreds of tweets will appear and you can spend as much time as you like entering all the giveaways. Most of them only require you to follow them and RT the particular tweet. It’s as easy as that. Be careful to avoid competitions that don’t deliver to your neck of the woods though. For instance, I avoid entering US-based competitions unless the prize is for a gift voucher. The majority of people aren’t prepared to send worldwide. As I’m based in Portugal but have the added benefit of family members in the UK, I enter a lot of giveaways based in the UK and then give them my family’s address if I win.

Knomo Bag
I love this handbag. I use it whenever I need to take my Mac with me because it’s got a special ‘pocket’ for laptops. It’s roomy (it has zips down the side to make it deeper) and looks gorgeous. The colour is to die for.
Kindle Fire
I won this from an author who was hosting a special giveaway during the launch of her book. I love it as it acts as a tablet as well as for reading books (I can access twitter, facebook, instagram and more on there!)
Bracelets
These gorgeous silver and gold ‘bangles’ are so much fun and I often wear them together or individually (depending on what mood I’m in). I think I won them from one of the TV sales channels. QVC comes to mind!
Scarf
Such a cute delicate scarf covered in little birds. Admittedly, I haven’t got much wear out of it (yet), because it’s such a light colour but watch this space!
Books
I’ve won loads of books over the years but here are my most recent wins. None of which I’ve read yet! I have so many books to read and so little time. Must remedy that!
Make-up
Pur Minerals make-up is so lush and yummy. This particular mascara is so thick it makes eyelashes look seriously intense. I love it, but occasionally use an old brush to tame it down a bit! The Hot Rocks make a gorgeous delicate blusher. I did win some foundation as well but when it arrived in the post, it had burst and was all over the place! A yucky mess!
