You might recognise this dress from last year’s post when I wore it for the first time. I bought it from the kids section in H&M – something I often do lol. Well, why not? If I can get into their largest size (14+), what’s to stop me? The kids’ section usually has the most fun outfits anyway 😉
I often find lovely tops and dresses in there. However, other than leggings, I’ve yet to find a pair of trousers to fit over my ‘womanly’ hips! But I shall keep trying! This particular dress appealed to me, not only because of it’s fabulous zebra, tiger and leaf print, but also because of it’s unusual hemline.
Longer hems at the back aren’t usually my thing, but it just seems to work with this dress. I also found that the elasticated waistline helps hide a multitude of sins (always a good thing for those of us that suffer from IBS!).
I wasn’t in the mood for heels, so I opted for my comfortable flat sparkly sandals which I bought from Guimaraes shoe shop at Portimao Retail Centre. My old black handbag from H&M and these gorgeous black butterfly earrings were added and I was all set to go out to dinner at our friends’ place.
We were dining with close friends, their kids and grandkids. Our friend’s grandson was particularly delighted with my kids’ dress because it has a tiger on it. A tiger that looked a lot like his own teddy bear! Cute eh?
