I’m talking about my number one wardrobe staple today and I’m also delighted to be Ada’s (Elegance & Mommyhood) co-host for her popular Thursday Moda Link-Up. Thank you for inviting me, Ada!! Ada is one of those bloggers that everyone just loves to bits. She is very supportive and super hard working. She always manages to look fabulous – frequently sharing the limelight with her cute little daughter, Vivian. For today’s Thursday Moda Link-Up we thought we’d talk about jeans (and Ada is also talking about jeans with sweaters).
Number one wardrobe staple
If you’re a follower of my little blog, then you’ll already know that I’m obsessed with jeans and I have so many pairs, primarily of the skinny variety. They are, without doubt, my number one wardrobe staple. I’d be lost without them!
I love how you can dress them up, dress them down, wear them to paint the house or even wear them out to somewhere really fancy – they’re the number one wardrobe staple for many folks out there. Are you one of them? For my day-to-day wear, I’m usually wearing my jeans with a sweater or a vest top in the warmer months (until I have no choice but to give in to shorts in July and August!).
Dinner with friends
Today, I decided to share with you how I like to wear my jeans for a simple dinner in with friends. Nothing fancy, just my favourite pair of skinny Levi’s, a cute floral dress, a warm cardigan from H&M and my super comfortable Rieker ankle boots from JD Williams for a very casual evening in with friends where comfort was the top of my list. I could’ve actually worn slippers if I really wanted to lol! Our neighbours wouldn’t have minded!
The necklace was a gift from hubby several years ago. He’d gone back to England for a few days and bought it for me. Sweet, huh?
In conclusion, I should mention that I have worn this dress with the same pair of jeans on the blog before – during warmer weather when I didn’t need a cardigan and with sandals/heels. I do love to wear dresses with jeans. It’s such a fun look and great if you want to cover up your legs for whatever reason lol!
