I’d been lusting over the Kurt Geiger rainbow bag collection for AGES. So, imagine my excitement when I walked into the Kurt Geiger outlet store in Freeport (Braintree, UK), and spotted this beauty? It didn’t just happen like that though. It was far more majestic lol.
I walked in and looked around at the shoes, and smiled at the shop assistant. She smiled back and stepped to one side. Then I heard angels singing as this rainbow bag was revealed in all its glory. It was like she knew this bag was destined for me lol. Am I being a bit dramatic? Perhaps, but it was most definitely meant to be lol.
Even Michael approved so he stepped in and did his usual thing of trying to knock something off the price (!). He did though (it always amazes me) and we walked away with the rainbow bag of my dreams. I’ve been saving it these past few months which is ridiculous, I know. I’m always saying that we should wear all our best stuff for any occasion because we deserve it! I need to listen to my own advice, don’t I?!
So, how did I style the rainbow bag? It’s clearly the star of this show, so I thought a black background would work the best. And because it’s getting hot here now, I opted for my new H&M black linen shorts. Who ever said long shorts can’t look sexy, eh?! Wear them with a pair of sexy heels like these and they’re instantly transformed. I bought these heels last year (or was it the year before? I can never remember—the Covid years are starting to roll into one!) from Ecco. Who’d have thought that Ecco would have such sexy shoes?! And the coolest thing about them? They’re comfortable!
I put on a black off the shoulder gypsy top and a fabulous statement necklace and I felt like a million dollars! All because of this stunning rainbow bag I’d had my eye on for so long. Sometimes it pays to be patient, right?!
