As I write, it’s 22nd November – just another week or so until I can get stuck into my Retro Sweet Advent Calendar and I can’t wait! I absolutely love retro sweets. Just thinking about refreshers, parma violets, fruit salads, black jacks, drumsticks (and more) is making my mouth water. Not to mention the fact that it totally takes me back to my childhood in England (I lived there up until I was ten).
Do you have fond memories of childhood eating retro sweets like these? What were your favourites? I had so many, I can’t even begin to choose just one. Which is why I’m super excited about digging into my very own advent calendar this year.
