This month’s Fab40s theme was the easiest theme for me because it’s ‘shorts for work’. And shorts for work is exactly what I wear when I’m working at Sophie’s Golf Shop! Basically, this outfit is exactly what I would wear on a normal working day…
The pale blue polo top is from Adidas – you might’ve recognised their signature stripe down the sides. Needless to say, the polo is available at Sophie’s! The black pull-on shorts are probably my favourite pair of shorts at the moment. They’re by Green Lamb which is a really popular golf wear brand but everything they do is perfectly acceptable for everyday wear too. Again, we stock the shorts in the shop lol! And they’re also available in other colours too. I sound like I’m actually at work don’t I? lol!
Woden trainers
I decided to wear a relatively new pair of trainers which I bought online from Woden – a Danish brand that my friend Karen introduced me to. Seriously, guys, these trainers are super comfortable! I just love them, and they have so many unique styles on offer that I’ll definitely be buying more from them. If you sign up to their newsletter, you’ll get a super discount on your first purchase. Cool huh?! (This is by no means a sponsored post, I just love this brand!)
Isn’t the handbag cute? I bought it a few weeks ago from Parfois. I’d been on the look out for a white bag that I could use as a crossbody bag and when I spotted this one, I snapped it up. I love the detail on the front, as well as the thicker strap which makes it particularly comfortable (and you know how I feel about being comfortable lol).
I’ve worn this beautiful blue stone necklace a few times already. It’s another gift from my mother-in-law and I just adore it. I finally had my hair cut last week too, and love the result. It’s going to look much better as it grows now. Not that I’ve decided how much I’m going to grow it lol. If you’ve been following the blog for a while, you’ll know I’m always cutting and then growing it out again!!
Anyway, enough about me, my hair and my ‘shorts for work’ outfit, let’s see how the other Fab40s gals styled this theme…
Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots
Unfortunately, Jennie had an accident with her camera this week and won’t be able to join us with an outfit this month. But do go and visit her blog because it is amazing, and she is simply wonderful <3
Sheela from Sheela Writes
As usual, Sheela looks like she’s walked right out of Vogue magazine. Sheela has always been the shorts queen in my opinion. She just rocks them like no-one else can, she looks fierce, she looks hot, she looks simply gorgeous!
Shelbee from Shelbee on the Edge
I love absolutely everything about this outfit. Shelbee looks the epitome of elegance in her gorgeous shorts romper, bumbag, ankle boots and blazer. But the thing that really makes this outfit stand out for all the right reasons are those polka dots tights!!! I’m in love with the whole look, Shelbee!!
Outfit:

Daenel from Living Outside the Stacks
Daenel and I often share the same sense of style, and I’m in love with her orange blouse and white shorts combo. The tan sandals are totally my kind of sandals too, as is the boho jewellery. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?
Dee from Dee Sayz
You know, I have a pair of chunky loafers just like Dee’s and I would never have thought to wear them with shorts. But check it out…. they look fabulous! I just might have to try it out. Love the white outfit with the dark jackets and bag, Dee!

And me…. goofing around with the big machines on the plot next door;)
