A few months ago, whilst shopping online, I spotted these amazing silky blue trousers and thought they looked gorgeous. Stupidly, I didn’t buy them and the next time I looked, they were gone. I was so annoyed with myself because I really wanted them for the Fab40s watery theme. Oh well, I guess I had myself to blame!
Anyway, a few weeks ago I was shopping in Faro with my bestie and we just happened to pop into Bershka when I saw them hanging up in the back—on the sale rail! I think I actually did a ‘WOOP WOOP’ lol. Sarah clearly thought I was a bit nuts. So I tried them on and luckily they fit perfectly. The only problem is that they’re a tad long (surprise surprise!) so I had to wear heels. I’d like to hem them but I’m not sure how that will work with such silky material. If you have any advice, please do tell.
As you already know, I simply adore wide-legged trousers, which is one of the reasons I love these trousers so much. That, and the fabulous colour of course. What I don’t like about them is the fact that they crease like crazy and there are no pockets. But the good outweighs the bad in this case. Aren’t they fabulous?
The top I’m wearing is another favourite of mine. I’ve had it for years, it’s from Zara. I wish I’d have bought it in navy blue as well…another one of those occasions when I’ve let a fabulous buy slip through my fingers DOH! The sequins around the neckline mean I don’t need to wear a necklace. Cool huh?
As for my shoes, aren’t they the most beautiful pair of colourful heels you’ve ever seen?! I don’t wear them often because, well…they’re high heels! But from car to restaurant, they’re fine. They’re surprisingly comfortable for high heels too, but that might have something to do with the fact that they have a little platform.
My little blue handbag is also from Zara. I bought it in the sales some time ago and I think it goes quite well with this outfit. If the weather was cooler, I’d be inclined to add a denim jacket, but it was really warm when I took these photos. I’d also quite like to wear these trousers with trainers, but, like I said above, they’re just too long at the moment. We’ll see.
So that’s my outfit featuring my new silky blue trousers. Now, let’s see what you’ve all been up to. Please add all your links to the Neverending Style link-up, below!

Last week’s favourite was Laurie from Vanity & Me, who showed us some of the fabulous items she’s picked up from Next lately. One of which is the most beautiful dress that I’m swooning over (see pic)! If you haven’t been over to Laurie’s blog before, I highly recommend a visit! She also has a fabulous YouTube channel.
