I’ve been really busy the past few weeks, hence the lack of posts here on the blog. So I’m sharing with you an outfit I wore about a month ago when it was really hot. A summer’s day outfit which I could quite easily still wear today because it’s too warm!
If you’re wondering why I’ve been really busy, it’s because I’m finally working on a new book (YAY!). It’s something new, something a bit different and something I’m quite excited about. Up until now, I’ve either written YA (Young Adult) urban fantasy, chick lit or romance. My current WIP (work in progress) started off as a chick lit novel but has morphed into a bit of a murder mystery. I must say, I’m loving writing this book, it’s great writing something that is a bit different. And I’m hoping my readers will think the same. I have no idea about a title just yet, or the cover – or even the ending to be honest! But it will all come soon because I’m already two thirds of the way through.
But back to my summer’s day outfit. I have worn this little yellow dress on the blog before but haven’t worn it much since, to be honest. I don’t know why… probably because when it’s a hot summer’s day, I usually prefer to wear shorts.
On this occasion, I wore it with my newest handbag from Quebramar which is perfect for a summer’s day outfit – I love the thick strap which makes it lovely and comfortable to wear in the heat. My Zara Home gold sandals were just the ticket too – although I think they’re on their way out, which is a shame because I love them. But it’s a good excuse to look for another gold pair 😉
But now I must get back to my WIP. Have a fabulous week, my gorgeous pals <3
