Tee-shirt slogans, straight leg jeans and wild horses

Okay, so you’re probably wondering where the heck the wild horses come into this. Well, it’s simple – it’s merely the tee-shirt slogan on this top that I love. It’s pretty old – I reckon I’ve had it eight years or so but I still wear it to death every summer.

My tee-shirt slogan reads, ‘Wanted: One Wild Horse’ and I just fell in love with it when I first spotted it. Lightweight and loose fitting, it’s perfect for when it’s really hot here in the Algarve. Also, it’s the only brown top I own and sometimes I just want to wear brown and it’s my only choice! I really do need to sort that out because it is a colour that suits me. I love tee-shirt slogans. I’m always going through the racks in shops to see what unusual tee-shirt slogans I can find. I often spot ones that make no sense whatsoever. But this one just appealed to me.

Cocktails & dinner

I wore this outfit last week when we went out for dinner with some good friends. Actually, it wasn’t just dinner. While our hubbies played squash in the afternoon, us girls decided to go out for a cocktail! You might have spotted my Instagram post about it:

Pina Colada anyone? ?

I’m not normally a cocktail kinda gal, but it certainly made a nice change. We found a place looking out over the sea in Praia da Rocha and relaxed for an hour. The Pina Colada was nice enough, although I expected it to be sweeter. That strawberry was delicious though!

As you probably know by now, I’m obsessed with my skinny jeans but every now and again I do like to wear a different shape. On this occasion, I chose a straight legged style to go with my tee-shirt which also gives the illusion of length – and who doesn’t want more length!? These came from Massimo Dutti last year and I find them super comfortable (although not quite as comfy as my wide-legged ones which I wrote about last year).

I found these fabulous shoes late last year – I’d had my eye on them for a while but couldn’t bring myself to pay full price, so I snapped them up when the sales started. I do love a bargain! They’re probably the most comfortable heels I’ve got. Seriously, they’re almost like wearing slippers! I love the colour and style and reckon they’ll go with so many different outfits. They’re going to get a lot of wear this summer, I’m sure of it! I pulled up one jean leg to give you a better view of them.

Suede, fringed handbag

You might remember the suede handbag from one or two posts last year. If you don’t, you probably won’t be surprised to hear that it also came from my favourite shop, Massimo Dutti! I do love that store. Not only do I love the colour, but I’m also a fan of the fringing. It’s a bit boho, right?

The cardigan could also be described as a bit boho too. It appeared on the blog once, late last summer. I haven’t been able to wear it since then because it’s a bit too chilly for the cold weather lol!

My chunky necklace was super cheap (about 3 euros) from a market stall a few years ago and I pinched borrowed this gorgeous brown Camel watch from hubby. I do love wearing his watches!

Silly photos

Speaking of hubby, while he was taking photos, he started clicking away like a maniac, really making me laugh. The resulting photos were actually quite fun…

By the way, I never did find that wild horse 😉
