Sorry I’m a bit late with my post and link-up this week. I seem to have run out of time, and then this morning I woke up with horrible period cramps and the last thing I felt like doing was taking photos of myself! So, instead, I took a couple of photos of the Zara dress I fell in love with a few days ago…
I had absolutely no intention of buying anything when we visited the shopping centre. We were there purely to buy some duvet covers from Ikea for a friend. We decided to stay and have a bite to eat and a little wander around, just to pass the time and soak up the ambience.
Well…after we’d eaten we ended up wandering around and I spotted this Zara dress from afar and immediately fell in love with it! In fact, I might have silently squealed I loved it so much lol. Now, as you know, I usually buy things in the sale, therefore if I see something I like, I’ll usually wait for the price to drop a few months later—but not this time. I just couldn’t. I simply HAD to have it!
When it was in my arms, I then spotted this beautiful blue turtle neck top and I figured it would look fabulous under the dress. So I secretly squealed again and grabbed it. And then I saw this little green vest top (which I have in a multitude of colours already) and did another squeal (there was an awful lot of silent squealing going on that day!). I didn’t even try any of them on, I just knew I must have them.
And Michael was even happy to buy them all for me! Result! Mind you, they weren’t expensive. The dress was €39.99, the blue top was €19.99 and the green top, €5.99. I was delighted. I haven’t even tried them on yet as I’ve been so busy this week. But I’ll put them on and show you what it looks like next week.
While I’m showing you the Zara dress I fell in love with, I thought I would also show you the shoes I fell in love with a couple of months ago. Would you believe I found these beauties in a charity shop? They’re brand new, clearly never been worn and are absolutely divine! They’re from German brand Tamaris and I couldn’t believe my luck when I spotted them in the window. Initially, I figured they wouldn’t fit me because they are a size 40. However, they’re a small 40. More like a 39—my size! Another result! I think I only paid 5 euros for them too! I just hope my foot heals enough for me to wear them this winter.
Anyway, that’s enough about me and my squealing shopping frenzies lol. What have you been up to this week? Please link up all your posts below (all subjects accepted). Have a fabulous weekend!
One of my favourites last week was Alison from Midlife and Beyond who showcased some of her fabulous summer bargains from Zara. She even managed to find the most beautiful white maxi skirt for 5.99!! If you don’t know Alison’s blog, you really ought to check it out at Midlife and Beyond.
