Vest tops: I can’t get enough of them ► Suzy Turner

A few years ago I bought a navy blue vest top from H&M and it’s become my absolute all-time favourite. A year later I found another in khaki and I now wear them all the time throughout the summer. For some reason, I never thought to check if they had any more. Then, a few weeks ago, I was looking around a part of the shop that I rarely look at (don’t ask me why because I haven’t a clue lol), and discovered the very same vest in black! I was so excited, I rushed straight to the checkout and paid my €5.99 for it. And here it is…

It’s such a simple, and very affordable vest, from their Conscious range, that goes with just about everything. I really like the lace edge to it. My only wish is that they had it in more colours. I’ve checked the UK site and they have it in pale blue and pink too, but here they’ve only got it in black and white in-store. After writing that, I just had a quick look at the Portuguese site and guess what? They’ve got it in pale blue, pink, white, black, blue and white stripes, pale grey and mid-blue!!! Silly me. I guess I’ll be buying a few more online lol.

Anyway, on this occasion, I wore my new black vest with my favourite distressed Tiffosi jeans. And, because these pics were taken a few weeks ago when it was cooler, I also wore my favourite waterfall cardigan. Some time ago I mentioned that I’m looking for more cardies like these but I still haven’t found any. It’s super light so perfect for the warmer weather. If you know where I can get one, let me know!

The black leather sandals are really quite old and they’re starting to wear out. I’m not so worried about them though. They were only cheap things from Primark! They’ve lasted well, considering. I’m also using my gorgeous Desigual handbag which is quite rock chick, right? It’s becoming my go-to bag all year round. That, and my super cheap necklace which I just adore. I’d love a decent one to replace it though, as this was just a cheap necklace from Primark!

But that’s enough from me today. I’ve got a busy week ahead as I’m getting back into my writing (at last!) but that’s for another post. Have a wonderful week, friends <3
