It seems like ages ago that I was telling you about the search for my perfect winter coat. Well, it finally came to an end well in time for my holiday in the colder weather when I eventually came across this gorgeous black coat in Massimo Dutti (where else?!). It’s perfect for travelling because it weighs next to nothing, unlike the coat I wore on last year’s US holiday which actually made my shoulders ache!
This one is easy to wear, it goes with just about anything and is surprisingly warm for something so light. Although initially I had been looking for a shorter coat that was totally waterproof, when I found this one, I just couldn’t resist. Plus, I decided it was unlikely I’d be wearing it anywhere where I’d be stuck in the rain for more than a few minutes. It was perfect. And it wasn’t expensive either. Just shy of 100 euros. Not bad for a Massimo coat, wouldn’t you agree?
By the way, these pictures were taken in one of the fabulous places Michael and I stayed on our travels – it’s the Siguenza Parador in Spain which is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to tell you more about it… so stay tuned over the next few days!
